DEBRA Australia would like to honour long-time supporter Kenneth Stephens and celebrate some of the incredible things he achieved in his almost 93 years.
Kenny from Modbury Heights in South Australia took on many impressive feats over the years to support DEBRA Australia, driven by the fact that two of his great-grandchildren lived with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
These include compiling and marketing music CDs with family members, offering assistance where possible, and most recently completing a 2,500km kayak of the Murray River, which he finished at the age of 91. Over the years, Kenny raised a total of $7,000 to support families living with EB, leaving a legacy that will continue on.
His life mantra was “Live like someone’s left the gate open”, and Kenny truly did just that. He lived a life full of adventure, kindness and enthusiasm, and we are honoured to have witnessed the impact he made. We are deeply grateful for everything Kenny did to support families living with EB and are proud to honour his legacy.
