Some of Australia’s best comics came together in Melbourne over the June Long Weekend to raise money for our EB community. More than 300 people attended the Long Weekend Laughs event, where comedians like Cal Wilson, Dilruk Jayasinha performed alongside our incredible host and organiser Daniel Connell. Our bellies were sore from laughing and our hearts were full after DEBRA Australia received more than $15,000 in donations on the night. We are so grateful to the Comics Lounge in Melbourne for hosting the event, as well everyone who attended and helped organise – you all came together and dug deep to support people living with EB and we can’t thank you enough! The cherry on top of the night was seeing so many of our EB community and families in person laughing and smiling.
