My Board experience has given me a contemporary knowledge around governance, risk management and controls along with business management and analysis. I have supported Vinnies through volunteer work which has involved writing grant applications and assisting with various other administrative functions, including preparation of budgets. I also volunteer on Fred’s Van feeding the homeless and marginalized in the city, and managing the Hawthorn Shop one day a week. I am also a Justice of the Peace.

During my working, committee and Board life I have worked with many people of various educational, cultural and religious backgrounds and have a strong commitment to diversity. I have also mentored in leadership and performance management outcomes.

In both my employment and voluntary roles, I have gained extensive experience in building relationships by collaborating with a wide range of people from all walks of life. Additionally I have extensive experience in Operational and Strategic Planning and Project Management of which all were done within my positon at the Commonwealth Bank Australia dealing with million-dollar budgets.
