Judith’s business acumen is based on a diversified Commonwealth Bank Australia career, external accreditations, a variety of tertiary level qualifications, and external experiences within the school, sporting and not for profit sectors.
She provides and have provided strategic and operational planning to a range of community, non- government and business organisations. This includes risk management, strategic planning and facilitating training via strategic planning workshops, monitoring of financial reports and developing budgets. Additionally Judith coaches and mentors people pro-bono and has mentored new business owners to start up their business.
Her Board experience has given Judith a contemporary knowledge around governance, risk management and controls along with business management and analysis. She has supported Vinnies through volunteer work which involved writing grant applications and assisting with various other administrative functions, including preparation of budgets. Judith also volunteers on Fred’s Van feeding the homeless and marginalised in the city, and managing the Hawthorn Shop one day a week. Judith is also a Justice of the Peace.
During her working, committee and Board life she has worked with many people of various educational, cultural and religious backgrounds and has a strong commitment to diversity. Judith has also mentored in leadership and performance management outcomes.
In both her employment and voluntary roles, Judith has gained extensive experience in building relationships by collaborating with a wide range of people from all walks of life. Additionally she have extensive experience in Operational and Strategic Planning and Project Management of which all were done within her positon at the Commonwealth Bank Australia dealing with million-dollar budgets.
Judith held the State Coordinator Major Projects position for 3 years, which included premises changes to open plan branches in South Australia and the Northern Territory, training and change management and executing a national marketing strategy. She also completed the bank’s Business Continuity Plan post the Katherine Disaster.
