What amazing determination and courage Andrew Biszczak has shown running from Victor Harbor in South Australia to Brisbane over a 4 month period raising over $142,000 (net surplus) for DEBRA. Andrew’s wife Sonia and daughter Tiffany were part of the support crew who helped make it all happen along with a dedicated committee behind the scenes organising media opportunities along the way.
DEBRA Australia organised a finale event in Brisbane where Andrew finished his last run with the South Bank Park Runners. Local EB families met up with Andrew and his family to thank them personally for all their hard work and dedication.
Andrew was invited to the BravE Butterfly Gala in Sydney to accept the DEBRA Australia Chair’s Award to acknowledge the wonderful funds and awareness raised for DEBRA.
